Terms of Service – School ERP

Effective Date: February 23, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Webzline (GSTIN: 19AROPB4602J1ZR), operating under the brand School ERP at school-erp.in (“we”, “us”, “our”), governing your use of the School ERP software and related services. By purchasing a license or using our software, you agree to these Terms.

This agreement is governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

1. Definitions

“Software” — the School ERP WordPress plugin (available at school-erp.in), including all modules, updates, and documentation
“License” — the right to install and use the Software on your server(s) as per your purchased plan
“Plan” — the specific tier (e.g., Trial, Standard, Enterprise) you have selected, which determines the features, number of schools, and student limits available to you
“Add-on Services” — optional supplementary services (e.g., website design, server setup, onboarding) purchased separately
“License Key” — the unique alphanumeric code provided upon purchase that activates the Software

2. License Grant

Upon successful payment (or activation of a free trial), we grant you a:

Non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software
The license is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase (or 14 days for free trials)
Usage is limited to the number of schools and students specified in your Plan
The Software may be installed on one WordPress installation per license

3. Self-Hosted Software

Webzline School ERP is a self-hosted WordPress plugin. You are responsible for:

Providing suitable web hosting infrastructure (server, domain, SSL certificate)
Installing and configuring WordPress and the Software
Maintaining regular backups of your data
Keeping your server, WordPress, and the Software updated
Ensuring the security of your server and admin credentials

We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or security breaches resulting from your hosting environment or server configuration.

4. Payments & Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of the applicable plan features
GST (Goods and Services Tax) will be applied as per prevailing Indian tax laws. Our GSTIN is 19AROPB4602J1ZR
Payments are processed securely via Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets)
Licenses are billed annually. Your license must be renewed each year to continue receiving updates and support
Prices may change for renewals, but you will be notified at least 30 days in advance

5. Free Trial

The free trial provides access to the Software for 14 days with limited features
No payment information is required for the trial
At the end of the trial period, the license key will expire and the Software will deactivate
Trial data on your server is not affected — you retain full control of your data

6. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Please refer to our Refund Policy for complete details on eligibility, process, and timelines.

7. Intellectual Property

The Software, including all source code, design, documentation, and branding, is the exclusive property of Webzline
Your license grants you the right to use the Software — not to own, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from it
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the Software or your License Key with any third party
All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on our website are the property of Webzline

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Software only for:

Managing educational institutions (schools, colleges, coaching centres, play schools)
Lawful purposes in compliance with all applicable Indian laws

You agree not to:

Use the Software for any illegal activity or purpose
Attempt to circumvent license restrictions, activation checks, or usage limits
Share your License Key with unauthorized parties
Use the Software to store or process data in violation of the DPDPA 2023 or any other privacy law

9. Updates & Support

Software updates (bug fixes, new features, security patches) are included during your active license period
Customer support is provided via email and WhatsApp during Indian business hours (Monday–Saturday, 10 AM – 7 PM IST)
Support covers usage guidance, bug reports, and configuration assistance
Support does not cover custom development, server administration, or third-party plugin conflicts

10. Data Ownership

You own all data stored on your server through the Software. We do not claim any rights over your school data, student records, financial records, or any other data you create, store, or manage using the Software.

Upon termination of your license, your data remains on your server. We do not remotely delete or access your data at any point.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable Indian law:

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
We are not liable for damages arising from your hosting environment, server failures, third-party plugins, or your failure to maintain backups

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Webzline, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your breach of these Terms
Your misuse of the Software
Any violation of applicable laws in your use of the Software
Any third-party claims related to data you store or process using the Software

13. Termination

By you: You may stop using the Software at any time. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy
By us: We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms, with reasonable notice. In case of severe violations (e.g., redistribution, piracy), termination may be immediate
On non-renewal: If your annual license is not renewed, the License Key will expire and the Software will deactivate. Your data on your server is not affected

14. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute, both parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication within 30 days
If the dispute is not resolved, it shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
The arbitration shall be conducted in English, with the seat of arbitration in Kolkata, West Bengal, India
The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

16. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet outages, cyberattacks, or acts of war.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Webzline with respect to the Software and supersede all prior agreements, discussions, or representations.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Software after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
